Visit of BISP Delegation
A four-member delegation visited AIT on 9 October 2025 (Thursday) to explore potential avenues of collaboration under the Benazir Hunnarmand Program. The delegation received a comprehensive two-hour briefing, followed by a detailed tour of the DAE classrooms and labs, including the HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Heavy Machinery Training areas. During the visit, they interacted with trainees and expressed appreciation for the high quality of skill training being imparted.
The team also visited the RTP Hospitality Section, Future Labs, and Robotics Labs, where they were highly impressed by the state-of-the-art facilities. The visit continued for approximately three and a half hours.
Throughout the visit, various workable options for utilizing the BISP Hunnarmand Program funds were discussed. The delegation assured that they would review the possibilities for supporting the skill development initiatives more effectively and expressed their intent to plan a visit of the BISP Fund Chairperson, Senator Robina Khalid, in the coming week.
